Raise your self-esteem

Low selfesteem often arises from painful past experiences and failures.Pain and failure from the past is like a lens through which you view yourself and the world,and this often enough gives you a distorted view of reality.
If you want something new,you have to let go of the failure and pain from the past.This can be done effectively with various techniques.Many of these techniques help you in clearing mental blocks,negative emotions and painful memories.

Causes of low self-esteem Failure:


Past failure creates feelings of fear,sadness and blame.You must realise that you did the best you could at that point of time and also learn to forgive yourself.

Abandonment and rejection :


If there are memories of being abandoned or rejected,this creates a belief that you are not lovable.

Guilt:


If you blame yourself for hurting someone or if you behaved in a way that is not in accordance with your value system,guilt arises and this creates low self-esteem.


Need for approval:

A constant need for approval is a sign of low self-esteem.Why do you need constant approval from others What about your own approval Do you love yourself enough If not,why The answers to these questions will uncover the causes of low self-esteem.

Physical appearance:


Each person is unique and you must recognise and honour that.Stop comparing yourself with others.Your body is a gift that needs to be loved and respected.If you abuse your body with excess food and other addictions,take help and be free of addictions.When you take constructive action to regain your good health,you will begin to feel good about yourself.

Blocks:


You may feel less competent then others due to some fears that hold you back.For example,at work,you may avoid giving presentations as you suffer from fear of public speaking.When the fear is healed and you do a presentation well,you will experience a surge of confidence within yourself.
Negative emotions,beliefs and attitudes that hold you back can be cleared with alternative therapies such as Reiki and EFT.This will help in the emergence of a new you,the real you.Refer
