Some Useful Health Tips

  • On catching cold smell half cut lemon, for running nose half cut onion and Inhale juice of Hara Dhania (Corinder leaves) in excessive sneezing.
  • To stop Hiccups inhale smoke of black pepper.
  • Hot milk is helpful in stopping Asthma Stroke.
  • For cracked heel/foot apply juice of mango leaves.
  • One spoon of honey thrice a day is helpful in curing depression.
  • Eating four tablespoons of plain curds helps prevent and cure mouth ulcer. The friendly bacteria present in curds fight off the mouth bacteria that causes mouth ulcer. So be sure that you follow this curd cure!
  • Stabilize your blood sugar by eating fiber from whole grains, beans, vegetables,  fruits & consider using a fiber supplement.
  • Stop smoking and avoid all sources of passive cigarette smoke exposure to reduce ear infection recurrences.
  • Brush and floss regularly to keep your teeth free of food particles that can lead to halitosis(bad breath).
  • Try to limit eating fast food as much as possible. Fast food is known to be salty & greasy & has little nutritional value source.
  • Strict meal timings, proper food and good sleeping habits are a few good things for a healthy lifestyle.
  • Self esteem, confidence & a healthy mental status are the most important ingredients for an attractive personality.
  • Meditation and karate are the perfect stress busters; they erase tension, high blood pressure and headache problems
  • Sugar boost energy temporarily, therefore, we feel sleepy and our activities goes slow.
  • If you are unable to do exercise at least do walking exercise as it burns calories.i.e., 30 minute of walking burns 135  calories and 30 minutes of jogging burns 240 calories. 
  • To remove bad breath chew Eliachi (green cardamom)/ Sanuf (fennel)/Laung (Cloves) so as to removes strong odors.
  • An apple a day keeps doctor and Constipation away.
  • One or two drops of Eucalyptus oil in hanky works as a good inhaler during running nose.
  • A few drops of Eucalyptus oil if added to hot water, its steam provides relief during cold.
  • Soak seven almonds in water overnight. Remove the skin and boil it with a glass of milk and sugar. Repeat this for 20-25 days. It helps in enhancing memory.
  • Eat Carom seeds (Ajwain) then drink luke-warm water. This provides relief to cough.
  • Roast Carom seeds (Ajwain) and make powder. Apply this on your Gums, if  having gum problem, it will help.
  • Chewing a clove provides relief in toothache.
  • A mixture of ginger juice & honey (warmed) ,if taken before going to bed brings great relief to sever cough.
  • A 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder in a cup of hot milk can bring relief in cuts, wounds, pains, fever, cold & Coughs.
  • A flake of garlic swallowed with water taken empty stomach daily in the morning is helpful in solving many stomach & gastric problems.
  • For Joint Pains have lots of fruits containing Vitamin C like Guava, Oranges, Gooseberries. Try avoiding milk and potatoes. Boil tamarind leaf in water adding salt. Keep pouring the liquid on the affected area. This helps to reduce the pain.
  • For neck pain sleeping on a hard bed and lying on your back is good for the neck and back. Avoid sleeping on your stomach.
  • For Back Pain Keep pillows under the chest and legs and lie on your stomach. Dip a towel in boiling water, twist the water out from the towel and apply it to the affected area. Steaming the area also will reduce the pain.
